Papers relating to Ireland, Melville and Moose Islands 1808 - 14. Relates to the purchase of Ireland Island, Bermuda, with the purpose of creating a naval base. There are letters to Warren relating the progress of the building work, and bills relating to both Melville and Ireland Islands. There are regulations from Rear Admiral Cockburn for the defence of Ireland Island in the event of attack. The latter part of the volume relates to the debate surrounding the sovereignty of Moose Island, off the coast of New Brunswick. 19th June 1808 - 20th January 1813.
