2 signed autographed quotations by Wendell Phillips (1811-1884), Massachusetts: (i) 'Libertate Quietem', signed January 1864; (ii) 'Count that day lost whose low...', dated March 1868. Phillips was an Abolitionist and an associate of William Lloyd Garrison and the President of the Anti-Slavery Society.
