A folder from Sir Frederick Maze’s original filing contains Synopsis of Genesis and Development of Maritime Custom Services as well as a few copies of Junks and China’s Coast and Rivers. This includes: Notes written by Sir Frederick Maze for his book with multiple copies of pages; A published version of Chapter one of The Chinese Maritime Customs Service A brief Synopsis of its Genesis and Development by Sir Frederick Maze with editing marks; Third draft of Canton and the Revolution 1911-15 with editing marks and notes; newspaper cutting concerning Sir Hart the Times correspondent in Shanghai and Peking.
