Includes account of TITANIC disaster and his rescue in the same lifeboat as Bruce Ismay.

Administrative / biographical background
George Thomas Row (1881-1974) had begin work for the White Star Line in 1910, having previously been in the Royal Navy. At the time of the collision, he was on duty on the poop deck. He testified at both the US and British Inquiries.
