Rosalie Ida Straus nee Blun (1849-1912) was the wife of Isador Straus, US Congsssman and co-owner of Macy's Department Store. Neither of them survivied the sinking. Jesse Isidor Straus (1872-1936) was the eldest son of Isidor and Isa Straus and served as American ambassador to France from 1933-1936.
