In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Direct you to order the ship loading with provisions for Gibraltar to attend HM Fleet now going to sea under the command of Admiral Herbert, and that after she has delivered these she be employed as a Hospital ship, and hired by you for that purpose for the best terms you can for four months certain, and as much longer time as there shall be occasion for her.
Also direct you to give orders to the Commander of HM Fleet, or the Clerk of the Cheque under whose muster they are, to take off the R from all such seamen that shall forthwith repair on board their respective ships, notwithstanding their having been absent for some time, and for that reason made R.
