War diary of Frederick Arthur Buckley (Volume 2), November 1914-April 1915.

Diary kept by Frederick Arthur Buckley, 12 November 1914 to 1 April 1915. In this period Buckley was a gunnery lieutenant on the battleship HMS VENERABLE (1899). The diary follows events at Chatham and Sheerness, including the loss of the battleship HMS BULWARK (1899) in the River Medway on 26 November 1914. It also covers another attack on the Belgian coast in March 1915. Sketches and items of ephemera are included.
