War diary of Frederick Arthur Buckley (Volume 7), May 1918-September 1919.

Diary kept by Frederick Arthur Buckley, 15 May to 29 September 1919. During this period Buckley continued to serve on the battleship HMS EMPEROR OF INDIA (1913). The EMPEROR OF INDIA was present at the surrender of the German High Seas Fleet in November 1918, recommissioned at Portsmouth in March 1919, and was then sent to the Black Sea as part of the Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War.
