We have thought fit to confirm a warrant dated 29 May 1694, granted to the Rt. Hon. Admiral Russell, for Paul Stigant to be Master Carpenter of the ROYAL WILLIAM in place of the former deceased. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 18 June 1694.
