Chelsea Pensioner

This print is the pair to PAD2210, of a Greenwich Pensioner, published by Castle in Castle Street, Holburn, London. The apparently elevated architectural setting in both is invented. This one has the central range of Wren's Chelsea Hospital as a backdrop, with a military mortar on the right, where the other has Greenwich Hospital and an emblematic anchor etc.
