On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is on the port side of 01 deck at 39½ station looking forward, to starboard and up showing the rear of the Mark 6M main gunnery director with the gun direction officer's position on 02 deck ahead and the lattice structure of the Type 277Q radar mast abaft. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay.
