On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the Limbo mk. 10 mortar well between 61½ and 71 stations on 2 deck looking to starboard from the port side at 62 station showing the washdeck and decontamination locker and the decontamination clothing bin are against the forward bulkhead. The end of No. 2 Limbo mortar mounting is on the right. In the starboard bulkhead is the watertight door of the fan compartment and stowed vertically next to it is a twin float paravane. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay.
