On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the lobby between 62½ and 68 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking forward from 67 station showing the door to No. 1 mortar projectile room on the left. Oil fuel hoses, a fire extinguisher, a fire hose basket and a telephone are against the port bulkhead. Two framed notice boards are against the starboard bulkhead. The watertight door in the bulkhead at 62½ station is closed but not clipped. A vertical format negative.
