On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the C.P.Os and P.Os dining hall between 52¼ and 56½ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft and to port showing four tables set athwartships with six or four chairs at each table. An air conditioning unit and a refrigerator are against the ship's side. An electric fire is fitted to the side of the pantry next to the open sliding door. The curtained door to the hall is on the right.
