The photographer is in the switchboard room between 11½ and 14 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to starboard showing the Crompton Parkinson synchronising selectors panel on the right and the cabinet is equipped with rectifiers, power readout gauges, a main breaker arm, two spare on/off switches, and generator and busbar indicators. On the left is a Crompton Parkinson switchboard equipped with at least 10 on/off switches. A four-way telephone control box, an automatic emergency lantern and a fire extinguisher are by the door.
