On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the main passageway (known as the Burma Road) between 49 and 63 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 61½ station showing an two fire extinguishers and three fuse panesl on the left. On the right is the door to the senior rates' bathroom and an international compressed air breathing apparatus cabinet. The watertight doors at 63 and 66 stations are open. A vertical format negative.
