Albacore class (1855) 'Crimean' gunboats

Scale 1:24. Plan showing a plan of the engine bearers and boiler space, a section from forward looking aft and a section from aft looking forward for the Albacore class (1855), 'Crimean' single screw gunboat to be built by private contractors and engined by John Penn & Sons with a 60HP engine. The plan shows the position of the Kingston valves, coal box cants and pump bearings. Penn & Sons provided the engines for about half of the Albacore class 'Crimean' wooden single-screw gunboats.
