In the ice-pack, from the Main-top of the Terra Nova. (Gran, Taylor and Wright).

A view of the ice floes from the main-top of the discovery ship Terra Nova (1884). The photograph is dominated by the foremast and yards at the break between the lower and upper masts. Gran, Taylor and Wright are standing on the top-gallant yard on the fore mast looking over the pack ice below. To the right of the bow is an open lead of water.
