Travel Journal of Edward Hawke Locker, on a Picturesque Tour around the UK with his father William Locker (Lieutenant Governor of Greenwich Hospital 1793-1800) from Windsor via Winchester, Bath, Cardiff, Swansea and back. The tour took two months and the journal records acquaintances met such as Lord Lewisham and Nicholas Vansittart, localities visited, routes and distances covered adding up to 1025 miles, plus watercolours showing his emerging style as a watercolorist. The first page is addressed to the readers of the volume.
