An R. & H. Green & Silley Weir mechanical engineer at work in the engine room on board an unknown ship. He is inside the crankcase of a diesel motor and is working on an opening in the roof of the crankcase. He has used a large ball pein hammer and an open spanner to loosen a nut which he is now removing with his fingers. The location may be any of the docks in the Port of London or in Falmouth.
