This Kuwaiti man, wearing white robes and a white turban, is balancing a pot on top his head and is looking at the photographer. He stands in front of his stall which consists of numerous types of pots, vases and jars. The masts and rigging of three sailing vessels are in the middle ground on the right. A landmass and sea are in the background. This is a duplicate transparency. This is Slide 52 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Senior Second Officer and Navigator on board the tanker Malwa (1961), owned by the P&O Group, from 14 November 1963 to 9 March 1964. The lecture consists of 75 slides.
