A very distant port quarter view of the three masted barque King Malcolom (1885) under tow of the London registered tug Gauntlet (1891) in The Downs. She is laden and has painted ports. She is under shortened sails with just her four topsails and the spanker set and her foresail reefed. The tug is also seen from off the port quarter. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
