An unidentified Fleetwood type ketch rigged sailing trawler at anchor on Hoylake Sands, Cheshire. A horse drawn four wheeled cart is nearly up to its axles in the shallows and it is drawing away from a small boat, possibly the trawler's own boat, which is loaded with wooden fish boxes. Two small children are paddling in the foreground.
