An unidentified general cargo steamship in Sea Reach in the Thames estuary.
A very distant port bow view of an unidentified general cargo steamship under way in Sea Reach in the Thames estuary, bound out against a setting sun. She appears to be flush decked and has a foremast, bridge, mainmast, funnel and mizzen mast. Each mast is fitted with a high gaff and no derricks or booms. A number of spritsail barges and another steamship are in the background. The photographer is on board the spritsail barge John Bayly (1895).
