Three unidentified people on board the Burnham-on-Crouch registered passenger carrying lugger Invicta (fl. 1908) in the River Blackwater estuary, Essex. The boat appears to have a standing lug rig. Two men are standing looking aft from between the mast and the first thwart, one is leaning on a mop and the other has his hands in his trouser pockets. A woman in a veiled hat is sitting on the starboard side of the thwart looking to port. The photographer is looking forward from abaft the second thwart. Negatives numbers P75145 and P75146 show the same man on board the Invicta (fl. 1908) but at different times.
