A starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the spritsail rigged coasting barge John Bayly (1895) under sail in the Thames estuary. She is lightly laden and her bowsprit is topped. She has a small amount of timber on her hatch covers. There is no sign of her dinghy.
