Portsmouth fishing vessels at Portsmouth

A half-decked carvel-built fishing boat regd P52, seen bow-on, is one of several similar gaff-rigged fishing boats shown moored in harbour in this image, taken from above deck level. The transom of the boat moored behind P52 bears its name, My Sweet One. Nets hang to dry from the masts of the two nearest boats. In the background the arms of cranes on the quayside loom over the moored fishing boats.
