Emsworth fishing vessels laid up at Emsworth
This view of the scallop boat Cymba (1893) in J.D. Foster's yard, according to Negatives index P.70000-P.79999, is taken from further forward on the port side than P75728, and shows a post approximately amidships bearing geared wheels, apparently for hauling dredges on board over either gunwale. Further forward are a small hatch with grill top, a larger sliding hatch, the mainmast, and on the foredeck, an anchor, and above an anchor winch, apparatus which may be for hauling dredges.
