Emsworth fishing vessels laid up at Emsworth
This view of the scallop boat Cymba (1893) moored aground looks forward from abaft the mast, showing a geared winch and anchor chain at the bow, and a post on deck between it and the mast. The base of the mast, carrying halyard cleats and other fittings, is octagonal in section. To the left of the picture part of the deck of a boat similar to the Cymba is visible alongside, and beyond it, the quayside.
