Falmouth, hulks
The hulk of what may be a trading ketch is seen from the starboard side, aground at Falmouth. Its rudder, at the extreme right-hand side of the image, has been broken. The hulk of another similar-size vessel lies behind the one in the foreground. Four heavy posts stand alongside the nearest hulk. The mast in the image belongs to an otherwise invisible boat behind the hulk; it has a seagull at rest atop it.
