St Ives sailing pilchard driver hauled up at St Ives
A pilchard driver, the Delhi, regd SS579, is seen from astern, moored aground in St Ives harbour at low tide. Mooring lines hang slack over its stern quarters and rope fenders hang over the port gunwale. A ladder is leaning against the port topsides. Fore- and mizzen masts are stepped but neither yards nor bumkin are visible. The Delhi has not been motorised, no propeller being fitted.
