Fecit. 1841'; King[?] Kulessi /The Girls' tower' (an island tower); 'The Seraglio [Topkapi Palace]/ St. Sophia, Sultan Selim ['Ahmet' crossed out], / mosques'. Down the right margin: 'Tower of / Galata / Burial ground of Pera' and 'Palace of Beshiktlash'. The two 'Towers' are identified by thumbnail sketches.
