'Charles Galley' (1676)
Graduated bar scale. A plan showing the profile with frames of the 'Charles Galley' (1676), a 32-gun 'galley frigate'. She was the prototype of a design intended for use against the Barbary pirates in the western Mediterranean.
A contemporary note on the drawing reads 'The draught of His [Majesty's] Shipp the Charles Gally; Friggate Built by Mr Pett att Woollwich'.
