Achilles (1861)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the outline of the inboard profile for the broadside ironclad frigate Achillies (1863). It illustrates the auxiliary engine and boiler arrangments and the foremost capstan. The drawing is signed by Oliver Lang [Master Shipwright at Chatham Dockyard 1858-1864] and Thomas Baker [Chief Engineer at Chatham Dockyard 1856-1865], The plan is torn in the bottom right corner.
