Achilles (1861)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the outline of the hold for the broadside ironclad frigate Achillies (1863). It illustrates the auxiliary engine and boiler arrangments and the foremost capstan. The drawing is signed by Oliver Lang [Master Shipwright at Chatham Dockyard 1858-1864] and Thomas Baker [Chief Engineer at Chatham Dockyard 1856-1865],
