Advertisement: 'Stirling Castle'

Advertisement. It consists of an advert for the loading of the steam ship 'Stirling Castle' placed by Thomas Skinner & Co. A faint outline of a house flag can be seen at the top of the advertisement. The advertisement states that the ship Stirling Castle is loading at the Royal Albert Docks with trips to Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai, to take goods to Java, Japan and Eastern Australian Ports and that the last day to go aboard the ship is the 8th July. It also gives details of the 'Stirling Castle's' passage during the Ocean Tea Season of 1882-1883 and the various locations the ships stopped and the time taken. The top right corner and parts of all the other corners of the advert are missing.
