Printed letter (as sent to all flag officers), requesting details of Gosselin's service, including dates of entry and discharges, to be submitted on the enclosed form, with a specimen showing the manner in which it should be completed, signed by John W. Croker, Secretary of the Admiralty, dated 1 April 1828. Also a sheet of notes made by Gosselin, providing details of his career.
