Loose photos from the MEDWAY journal by Stanley Ball.

A series of loose photos from the JOD/318/1 MEDWAY journal by Stanley Lawrence Albert Ball some of which are duplicates from the journal, they include photos of the Cutty Sark.

Administrative / biographical background
The MEDWAY was a four masted barque, prevouisly called AMA BEGNAKOA, in 1910 it was purchased from Sota y Aznar, Montevideo and renamed MEDWAY and used as training ship by Devitt and Moore Ocean Training Ship Limited. In 1918 it was sold to Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co., converted to steam tanker and renamed Myr Shell then scrapped in 1933.
