Letters from Sir James Porter to Lady Porter.

Letters to Miss Cowan (known as Lutie, later Lady Porter) from James Porter, whilst she was living in Bermuda, and James was at Devonport Dockyard, then aboard HMS IMPREGNABLE, then in Aberdeen with his ailing father, July to September 1886. They discuss their upcoming wedding, (Porter having proposed in the Spring of 1886) amongst other subjects. Also contains letters between Michael Cowan and James Porter, and two letters from Lutie to James.
