Papers relating to the commemoration of the Battle of Trafalgar, circa 1905-1938.

(1) Printed memorandum of suggestions for the commemoration of the Trafalgar Centenary by the completion and improvement of Trafalgar Square, submitted to the First Commissioner of His Majesty’s Works, circa 1905 (3 copies).
(2) Printed pamphlet with notes for a suggested speech by headteachers in schools on Nelson Day or soon after, by Arnold White, issued by The Navy League, undated.
(3) Letter from Commander Eustace L. Hill with general orders for detachments of The Navy League Sea Cadet Corps attending the Trafalgar Sunday Parade in London on 23 October 1938, dated 16 September 1938. With two diagrams showing the positions of the participants on Horse Guards Parade prior to marching off, and during the service and inspection at Trafalgar Square.
