Letter concerning the Jack Cornwell Ward, 1928.

Typescript copy of a letter sent by the secretary of The Navy League Overseas Relief Fund to the general secretary of the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust at 90 High Street, Chatham, dated 20 June 1928. It discusses the endowment fund launched by The Navy League in 1916 for a ward in memory of Jack Cornwell V.C. at The Star and Garter Home for Disabled Sailors and Soldiers at Richmond, Surrey. It also clarifies the separate grants made by The Navy League as financial assistance for members of the Cornwell family.
