A personal typescript and bound account written by R.J. Cogswell regarding his Naval career. The collection consists of three books which are books titled:
‘CONCORD to Yangtse’ 1928. An account of the first spell of foreign service of an Electrical Artificer 4th Class in the Royal Navy'.
'In The Ship EXETER'; includes photos of R.J. Cogswell and his wife at Buckingham Palace and a photo of Sir Winston Churchill.
'The Dock' 1973.
