S Victory / Fore topsail / after Battle of Trafalgar. Oct 21st 1805'. Below the flag on short raised stands are a number of historic gun barrels and muskets. The readable labels for the guns (cannon) include (l-r) a wrought-iron serpent from the time of King Henry VI (catalogue 4781), a brass - i.e bronze - saker (Henry VIII, catalogue 4783), a brass culverin from the 'Mary Rose' (Henry VIII, catalogue 4784), a 5 1.2 inch brass howitzer (George III, catalogue 4798), a brass cannon royal from the 'Mary Rose' (Henry VIII, catalogue 4787), a brass falcon (Charles I, catalogue 4790), a brass minion (Charles II, catalogue 4792), a brass minion (William and Mary, catalogue 4793) and a brass minion (Queen Anne, catalogue 4794).
