A motorcade passing through the Bab-e-Khyber (Khyber Gate) in Pakistan

A colour landscape photograph of a motorcade passing through the Bab-e-Khyber (Khyber Gate). Four motorcyclists can be seen in formation at the front of the motorcade, followed by four cards, the first of which is directly under the gate. The gate is made of stone with wooden doors at the base of each of the two towers. A man can be seen between the crenelations on top, with a Pakistani flag flying above. Adults and children, some wrapped in blankets, stand on the pavement on the right of the image, with others seated behind them. Original caption (beneath the photograph, typed): ‘Khyber Gate – Peshawar’.

This famous gate stands at the entrance of the Kyber Pass in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
