Small boat rowed pretty swiftly and two men one in white and the other in black, the one in white brightly reflected and almost undisturbed by the motion of the water and the other in black faintly reflected. Reflection of boat here.” Her sketch of the boat pinpoints “man in black here” and “man in white here”
“Scarcely perceptible at the stem and hardly any larger than the boat. Sharp and distinct (...) undulation.”
