Marked "Alterations and additions shown in red ink". Drawing carries red (Admiralty) Portsmouth Yard stamp dated 27 July 1870; annotated "See Officer's Letter of this date".
Reserve coal spaces P&S amidships deleted (stability reasons?) and converted to mess spaces. Messes P&S of forward turret reduced.
Shows stowage of 12 inch shot in mess spaces as well as abreast of after turret.
