'Discovery' (1901)

No scale. An incomplete plan showing the profile, longitudinal half-breadth and body of the 'Discovery' (1901), a wooden-hulled auxiliary barque fitted out for Antarctic exploration. This drawing appears to have been barely begun when work on it was stopped, and consequently there is minimal useable data.

The DIG-prefix plans are all late 20th century reproductions of the originals from Dundee Shipbuilders Co. Ltd. These copies were acquired by the National Maritime Museum from Goole Shipbuilding & Repairing Ltd. in April 1981.
