'Discovery' (1901)

Scale 1:48. An incomplete plan showing the forward part of the upper deck of the 'Discovery' (1901), a wooden-hulled auxiliary barque fitted out for Antarctic exploration. The original draught appears to have been executed mainly in pencil, resulting in the copy being very faint and generally of poor quality.

The DIG-prefix plans are all late 20th century reproductions of the originals from Dundee Shipbuilders Co. Ltd. These copies were acquired by the National Maritime Museum from Goole Shipbuilding & Repairing Ltd. in April 1981.
