26ft whaleboat for 'Discovery' (1901)

Scale 1:16. A plan showing the profile with sail arrangement of a 26ft, two-masted whaleboat for the 'Discovery' (1901), a wooden-hulled auxiliary barque fitted out for Antarctic exploration. The rig shown on this plan differs slightly from that shown in items DIG0039 and DIG0040.

The DIG-prefix plans are all late 20th century reproductions of the originals from Dundee Shipbuilders Co. Ltd. These copies were acquired by the National Maritime Museum from Goole Shipbuilding & Repairing Ltd. in April 1981.
