Sheet 1 of a set of five drawings illustrating a design proposal for a two-man submersible submitted to the Admiralty by a Mr. George Gerrey of Newhaven in January 1882.

No scale. A plan illustrating the method in which the craft would approach and attack a warship under way at sea.

The plan is signed by the designer and dated 11 January 1882.
